Benign Breast DisordersDefinition A few years ago used to be called fibrocystic disease, breast to any problem was not caused by cancer. Nearly 50% of women have some type of benign breast disease. Treatment

The nodules do not require treatment, but if you file a dominant nodule, will require an examination to practice. The doctor perform a puncture of the nodule to determine if it is a fluid-filled cyst. Depending on what you are, it may be necessary to biopsy it.

In any type of benign breast disease, the most important thing you can do is follow the program that your doctor may recommend for regular breast exams and mammography. Be sure to perform breast self-examination once a month and call your doctor if you notice any change.
